日出学園幼稚園の園児による英語劇

実は・・・日出学園幼稚園の英語は小学校の先生が教えているのです。

なぜって？

なぜなら、小学校につながる英語の礎を築いていけるからです。

さて、そんな日出学園幼稚園での英語劇について本日はお伝えします。

The upper class children at Hinode Gakuen Kindergarten performed a play! All in English!

It was called “The Naughty Monkeys and the Good Rabbits”

They had a lot of fun and did a great job! The parents watched and enjoyed it very much!

In class the children heard the story and learned the chant and song “5 little Monkeys”

” 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed

One fell off and bumped his head

Mama called the doctor and the doctor said

No more monkeys jumping on the bed!”

…..Then 4,3,2 and 1 little monkey.

Then we learned about actions to do every evening before we go to bed. We sang the song “This is the way”

“This is the way we take a bath, take a bath, take a bath

This is the way we take a bath, we do it every evening”

*put on pajamas *brush our teeth * read a book * go to sleep

We put this together to make the story of the naughty monkeys and the good rabbits.

All the children spoke in English and sang songs.

The children get ready – first they are monkeys.

Let`s go!

The parents are here. The children are excited!

“I am mama monkey” “I am papa monkey” “I am a monkey” “Good night mama, good night papa” “Good night monkeys”

“I like jumping!” “Ouch!” “Naughty monkey!” “Are you okay”

No more monkeys jumping on the bed!

The children played music too!

Now we see the rabbits house

Let`s take a bath!

When the children move they jump like rabbits. So cute!

Let`s brush our teeth! This is the way we brush our teeth!

Let`s read a book! I like reading

I`m sleepy! This is the way we go to sleep!

All the children go to sleep….

Its morning now and its time for morning exercises.

Let`s all sing “heads shoulders, knees and toes!
